Debbie was my mother-in-law, Sonja’s caregiver, for the past two years. Because of her, Sonja lived longer than expected and comfortably under her care. Debbie is a loving and dedicated caregiver. Her caregiving began a few days a week in Sonja’s home, however, we were very fortunate and blessed that Debbie agreed to move in with Sonja when the time came, where she was requiring around the clock care. My mother-in-law was not always an easy person to care for and/or live with. Debbie understood, it wasn’t easy for Sonja to give up her independence and was there to help her with the transition. Sonja became very attached to Debbie early on and loved her dearly. They became like sisters. Debbie assisted Sonja for meal prep, physical therapy, bathing, transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, errands, bedding changes, laundry, and so much more. Debbie consistently demonstrated exceptional caregiving skills. For Debbie, caregiving is not a job, but more of a mission and passion. She’s goes all in. I would recommend Debbie for any caregiving position. Any individual or family would be lucky to have her. She wasn’t just Sonja’s caregiver, but quickly became part of our family. She was an asset to the entire family. We will forever be grateful for her love and energy throughout her time with Sonja.
