About Deborah

I come with at least 20 years of experience as a nanny, post partum doula and home visitor who loves watching children thrive and grow. I enjoy sharing with moms and dads their children's progress and helping parents to experience that progress themselves. I received a certificate from Duke University which certified and prepared me to work for 14 years as a home visitor for families with at risk children. I am a certified post partum doula and worked with my husband in Cape Coral FL at a maternity home . I have also worked in 2 other group homes with delinquent/pre-delinquent boys along with my husband; as well as a cottage parent in NC with abused and neglected children. I have worked as a nanny in the Roanoke area for 5 years. References available upon request.
