About Debbie

I started working in a nursing home in Oklahoma when I was 16 and I fell in love with my work and I knew I always wanted to help the elderly. After moving to Texas I continued working with the elderly but went into Home Health. I also did some time working with disabled children. I moved to Gulf Breeze, Fl. in July 1989 and decided to go back to school. I Received my operating room tech certificate and worked in the operating room at Sacred Heart for 3 years, but do to situations beyond my control I had to give it up. I took some time off and a year later returned to PJC and received my. CNA license. I did my clinicals at Azalea Trace in Pensacola on the dementia unit. I worked in various hospitals or nursing homes until I went into home health. My last patient I worked with her for 8 years suffered from dementia and other medical problems.
