I am a PA certified elementary teacher with many years of childcare and teaching experience, including 8 years teaching abroad. I was a 3rd-grade teacher at an international school in Lima, Peru for 5 years, and worked as a reading specialist for an additional 3 years at the same school. I have experience caring for and teaching students of all ages, including many English language learners. Prior to my time in Lima, I worked for several years in childcare, teaching and tutoring children from infancy to 12 years. Since returning to Pennsylvania in 2016, I have worked as a nanny to two young children, as a private tutor for a small elementary home school group, a long-term fifth-grade substitute at Hershey elementary, and as a preschool teacher in Hershey. I also now have a son of my own, born in November 2019.

Debbie is my sister and is currently living with my family since moving back to the U.S. after teaching abroad for the past 8 years. She is really wonderful with my toddler girl and my infant boy. She is patient and kind and willing to jump in to help with any task, even the not-so glamorous ones. I have complete confidence that the kids will be safe when I leave them in her care.
