About Deanna

We hired Deanna at the end of 2025 to care for our one-year-old son. While she was kind with our child, reliability became an ongoing issue throughout the time she worked with us. She was frequently late, and cancellations were common, which made it difficult to depend on her for consistent childcare. When we hired her, we agreed that in addition to childcare she would help with light tidying related to our son. In our experience, those tasks were generally only completed when we specifically asked and laid out in front of her. Most concerning was how our working relationship ended. We were in the process of adjusting her schedule to accommodate different days and times when communication stopped entirely and we realized she had blocked us. She did not respond to messages or let us know she would no longer be working with our family, leaving us unexpectedly without childcare. I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but reliability and communication are essential when trusting someone with your children. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend her to families who need dependable childcare.
