About Deanna

Hi! My name is Deanna and I am a student at the University of La Verne studying Psychology. I have been working as a nanny/babysitter for four years. However, having three siblings who are all 6 years old or younger, I have gained the experience of patience, responsibility and adaptability. I am CPR/First Aid certified, have my driver's license, and have a reliable car! As a Psychology major, I understand the importance of play while also incorporating learning through games and creative crafts. I also like to apply my knowledge of Piaget's and Vygotsky's theories to the real life scenarios I am placed in. I have great time management and lots of energy to keep up with the little ones! I love being outdoors and enjoy taking walks, going on bike rides and swimming! I can also help with school work when needed!! When I am not working, I enjoy playing pickleball and soccer, reading, or spending time with friends and family! I'm able to provide references upon request.
