Multigenerational friendships add richness and benefit us in many ways. I'm seeking families that want a supportive, patient friend for their loved one. I've included photos of recent art therapy-painting pots for plants, working with colors and ways to express feelings and thoughts-letting go of perfection and learning to just BE! As well as cooking for or as an activity together. My advocacy for Elders and appreciation for them is rooted in childhood. I was closest to my Great Grandma because she would share life with me-baking, cooking, making crafts, and talking about her memories. Years ago working in a continuing care retirement community for 8 years solidified my appreciation. Clear communication and honesty is fundamental to me. The importance of life IS relationships, strengthening healthy ones, cultivating new ones, and keeping your word. My skills include patience, not easily offended, compassionate.
