About Deana

In personal/elder care, my experience spans several years. I started back in 1993 in CT helping my uncle who had dementia. I helped with errands, cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, medications and personal hygiene with depends. Later I helped D who had end stage emphysema for several years. Then with my mother at the end of lung cancer. Then 8 years with J who had ALS and recently passed away. With J I helped in several aspects of his life and care including: feeding, bathing, different modalities- red light therapy, bio-gym, chi machine, and ROM. I was his personal assistant with business matters. I also have experience with a cough assist, and a Hoyer lift.
