About Deana Joy

I'd describe my personality as joyful, honest and adaptable. I like working with kids because they are honest, hilarious and beautifully curious little people. The best kind of humans! I'm looking for a job that aligns with my personality and gifts and helps others. I started working with kids when I was a teenager doing babysitting jobs and church work. I have been a qualified music teacher since 2005 spending the last 12 years working with preschool age children. I have also raised 2 boys of my own now ages 16 and 19. In my spare time, I like to crochet, play piano, clarinet, ukulele, and board and card games, cook, bake, walk and spend time with family and friends. I also love spending time with my pets. One thing you should know about me is that I will care for your home family and pets like my own. My skills include child safety and supervision, age appropriate care and adaptability, and child engagement and developmental support.
