About Dayna

My experiences span many cultures and abilities. My goal is to touch each person in a way that when we are done working together they have gained useful skills, with the ability to apply themselves in life. I am adept at assisting students in writing their college entrance application personal essay. I'd describe my personality as playful, curious, focused. I like tutoring because I like sharing the skills I learned which helped me overcome some academic difficulties. I'm looking for a job where the person I am assisting shows up with the motivation to overcome their learning difficulties. I started tutoring while in college in the 1980's One thing you should know about me is I am still a licensed physician in CA, although retired. My medical license is a public record. My assisting skills include writing essays, computer skills, multiple choice test taking strategies.
