About Dayla

Dayla is an excellent nanny. I hired her to help me watch my 1.5 year-old girl while I went into labor with my second baby. Because we have no family in town, I trusted Dayla to be readily available whenever baby 2 arrived. She worked with us part time for 1.5 months to get to know our family, and my girl fell absolutely in love with her. Even today, my daughter wakes up and asks me where is Dayla. Prior to hiring, she asked very thoughtful questions about my parenting style and took careful consideration to respect that. She was great at encouraging my kid's confidence, promoting independence during meal times, improving her vocabulary by reading books every day, and developing her social skills at the library and playground. Dayla is very confident, assertive, and jumped in whenever and wherever she could. Imagine how crushed I felt when Dayla texted me on the day I went into labor, informing me that she was quitting. For that, I deduct a star for leaving me when I needed her most. The only other issue I had with her was communication. Had she been more upfront and frank with me, I feel that we could have had a more honest, trusting relationship with each other. I wish her nothing but the best and hope that she will find a future family that she can trust.
