About Daykota

Hi! I'm Daykota, an experienced early childhood educator with nearly three years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I have my Child Development Associate (CDA), a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Social Welfare Advocacy, and I'm currently pursuing my Master of Social Work with a focus on children, youth, and families. I'm patient, nurturing, creative, and love making time with kids both fun and meaningful. I especially enjoy art, painting, sensory activities, imaginative play, reading, and creating activities around each child's interests. My professional experience has also given me a strong background in routines, social-emotional development, and supporting a variety of needs and behaviors. I do not currently have a driver's license, so I cannot transport children, but I have reliable transportation to and from your home. I'd love to connect with a family looking for a caring, creative, and dependable sitter or nanny!
