About Dawn

I am a mom of 5 school age girls looking for something to do during school hours. Not only do I have 20 years mom experience, I also have an associates degree in child development and corporate childcare experience. I love kids and love craft projects and making memories and messes! I'd describe myself as empathetic, cautious, and creative. I like working with kids because they are fun and funny. I'm looking for a job that is mostly within the school hours of my children, working with parents who will partner with me to create a fun and safe childcentered care relationship. I started working with kids when a was 12 years old. I volunteered in the church nursery and had my first babysitting job around the same age. In my spare time, I like to walk the beach, cook and craft. One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian mom who loves God and my family. My skills include, being creative, getting down on a child's level, and understanding from a child's perspective.
