Hello, my name is Dawn and I have lived in Jacksonville for 27 years. My formal education consists of a BA in Psychology with a minor in Public Health, I am also a certified Medical Assistant and have practiced for over 35 years. Most of my married life consisted of being a military wife and then we retired in Jacksonville, I have 3 grown sons and 3 grandchildren. I have been a widow for the last 5 years and have spent the last 2 years working as a Nanny and Preschool teacher. Spending time with your baby and being invited into your home is an honor that requires trust and respect, I consider myself to be a professional and would love to be a part of your family while you are away at work.

Dawn is an amazing Nanny. She was with our family for 4 months while we were in Florida as I supported my mom undergoing cancer treatments. Dawn was everything we needed and more. She is kind, courteous, flexible and understanding. She did everything for our 3-year-old daughter. They played, went on adventures to petting zoos, splash parks and I think every playground in the area. She prepared meals, did light housework and even altered some of our daughter's clothes! She is very organized. Dawn kept notes on what they did each day and what was working and what wasn't. She and I talked through everything and made a plan for how to do things better if we needed to and made sure that she and I were on the same page! We were very sad to have to leave Ms. Dawn to return home to MA. But we still keep in touch. She's part of the family. She made what was a terrible time for my family, a lot better, totally manageable, and even a lot of fun for my daughter.
