About Dawn

Nothing I say in this review can ever give Dawn the recognition she deserves. She originally helped us to care for my aunt who was suffering from Dementia. Through that season Dawn was not only a huge help with my aunt, but just as big of a support for me and my family as we navigated through that terrible disease. During that same time, my 92 year old grandfather started dealing with a series of health issues so I asked Dawn to step in and help with that. She did so graciously. She ended up assembling a team, herself included, to stay with my grandparents almost nonstop until my grandfather unexpectedly passed in January of 2025. After that we had to reevaluate the situation with my grandmother. She was 87 and while she was still pretty self sufficient, the family felt like it was best to continue a different kind of care for my her. She needed help around the house, getting to appointments, etc. Then in May of 2025, my aunt passed. At this point Dawn and my grandma's other favorite caretaker, Lori were with my grandma most of the time. She began having health issues so the care became a bit more about her medical needs. Long story short, my grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in mid December of 2025. Dawn and Lori were extremely active in all of her care and support up till she passed a couple weeks after her diagnosis. During the year and a half that Dawn and I have known each other we have become very good friends. Although I know I've benefited way more from the friendship! We have paced hospital rooms together, laughed and cried, and endured 3 funerals together. I could always count on her whether it was something for my loved ones or mental or emotional support for me. My family lost 3 very special members in a very short amount of time, but in turn I gained a friend I will have forever. My family members loved her. So much so that my grandma wouldn't allow anyone but Dawn and Lori to care for her and my grandpa. When I tell you there's no one better to care for your loved ones, I speak from experience. I wouldn't trust anyone else with any member of my family. Caring for the elderly is her passion and you can see it in everything she does for them! Thank you dear friend!
