I have worked in a nursing home for over 13 years as well as an activity assistant for an Alzheimer's unit. I have planned activities along with sensory stimulation programs and taught a program called strength for training for the elderly. My grand mom had Alzheimer's for over 10 years, during that time before she was placed in a skilled home I took care of her.
