I love working with both the elderly and young! I recently completed a two year weekend live in private CNA position for a lovely elderly couple in Newtown. The personal time, attention and connection with clients in-home is extremely rewarding. I have 10 years experience as a para educator having worked in the New Milford school system. I began my CNA career just about 10 years ago. My first two years as a CNA at The Kent Nursing & Rehab facility in Kent, CT afforded me the opportunity to work in the various units including long term care, rehab, and dementia unit. Duties included assisting residents with daily care and individual needs such as companionship, dressing, eating, toileting and showering. I really enjoy working with both the individuals and their families.
