I took care of my dad for 8 years through the Western Mass VA. I would not be able to take the person anywhere only because I own a truck. I have experienced every step of the aging process with my dad so I know exactly how you feel in getting the best for your dad. I helped my dad with walking, toileting, pull ups to diapers. I assisted with meal prep then feeding him up to using a feeding tube. Also medication management a little wound care also. Assisting with dressing up to dressing him because he could not after a certain point.
