I like caring for seniors because it gives me satisfaction to be able to help and relieve a loved one of some of the burden of being a caregiver. I'm looking for a job that is both satisfying and helpful to others. I started caring for seniors when my Dad became an Alzheimer's victim in 1996. In my spare time, I like to read, play pickleball, and enjoy life with my wife. One thing you should know about me is that I took care of my father, who had Alzheimers for 3 years, and also cared for my 92-year-old Uncle for almost a year. My skills include patience, understanding memory care issues, and listening.

David worked with my friend, an older veteran who lives alone, for more than four months. His caregiving skills were outstanding. Early in his tenure, he provided mobility, toileting, and transportation support for my friend’s many appointments. He helped with bill paying and computer issues, interacting with a variety of service providers and medical personnel. He ensured that medications were organized and taken. And, he became a friend to a lonely, older man. I highly recommend David as a caring and responsible caregiver.
