About Dave

I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 18 years. During that time, my focus has been building and nurturing relationships with kids and families to create strong pathways toward communication, support and growth. It is important to me that my work is meaningful. My caring and compassionate inter personal style have been the keys to my success as an educator. During my time teaching, I have volunteered to help elders and continue to support several senior individuals currently. The connections I have made are extremely rewarding and have motivated me to explore further opportunities in personal supportive roles. When I am with seniors, I bring patience, listening skills and a calm, flexible attitude. Managing a classroom of kids, I have honed my abilities to make on the spot decisions to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere. I am a musician, music and art lover who also enjoys watching movies. I live with my wife and son in Ballard, Seattle.
