About Dashyla

Hi, my name is Dashyla! I have been living in NOLA for 2 years. I am from Hattiesburg, MS. I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Bachelor's degree in Child and Family sciences. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Social Work. I have several years of child care experience. I started watching children as young 1 years old at the age of 16. I have experience with babysitting children between age of 1-15. I currently work for Boystown as a care coordination consultant. Before becoming a care coordination consultant, I was a youth care worker for Boystown. I worked in a intervention and behavior home for youth boys. I can help with arts and crafts, cooking/meal preparation, and mild animal care. I like working with kids because every child is different. By working with children I am able to help each kid discover their own strengths and talents and help nurture those traits.
