Daryl took care of my father for almost five years. During that time, Daryl's role changed from an aide who assisted my Dad with daily tasks while he was mobile using a walker to a true caregiver who got my father in and out of bed, dressed and prepared breakfast daily when he became wheelchair bound. As my father declined over the years and his level of care increased, Daryl stuck by him and truly enhanced my father's quality of life. He wasn't just a caregiver who managed my Dad's doctors' appointments, took him food shopping, and drove him where he needed to be, he was my father's partner in crime. He stuck with my father until the very end. My family is grateful for the care Daryl gave my father for the past five years and my Dad was lucky to have Daryl as a companion.
