As a mom of 4, I soon availed myself of adult education classes, co-op preschool & observation preschool, and took appropriate classes to go along with parenting. We set up loads of fun play for children at our house. I taught classes at the YMCA and YWCA . After the last child had graduated to kindergarten, I went back to the Nursery School where I as a co-teacher for two years. The ongoing Y classes had a large following. A friend and I joined together to form our own preschool business with classes for moms and tots. We put on a program that grew to 80 families the first year. This little program grew into two locations, with preschool . It was a play-based preschool, well known for our indoor gym room, creative art for young children & parent involvement. When the economy changed,. we moved as, my husband took a job out of state, and we sold the preschool in 2013. As I always loved being involved in teaching preschoolers, I am wanting to be a nanny for a young family.
