About Darlene

Hello, I am a grandmother with over 10 years experience caring for children. My children are grown now and I have beautiful grandchildren that I have helped care for. Some of my other childcare experiences consist of caring for infants as young as 6 weeks. My passion is working with newborns and toddlers, and assisting new parents! I have also worked in a childcare facility with the ages from 0 to 6. You would find me in the church nursery caring for newborns as well as busy toddlers. I have had training in breastfeeding counseling, as well as infant and toddler nutrition. I also have experience with being a companion sitter for the elderly. I have worked closely with the elderly community in group settings as well as one on one.
