I'd describe my personality as energetic, authentic, and attentive. I like tutoring because I believe that every child can and should be successful at school. When students are given the tools In the format that they learn best success happens. I'm looking for a job that offers me the opportunity to work with elementary age students to deepen their understanding of math and reading concepts. I started tutoring in 1999 and have tutored throughout my entire 20 year teaching career. In my spare time, I like to read and do crafts. One thing you should know about me is I love kids and want to see them be successful. A state assessment does not always measure success. My skills include interactive lessons, hands on assignments, and helping students learn in creative ways so that they don't even realize they are learning.
