I'd describe my personality as outgoing, adaptable, and encouraging. I enjoy tutoring because I am able to apply my background in education to a one-on-one environment. Tutoring allows me to address the specific needs of a student and ensure they receive the exact guidance they need to become successful readers and writers. I'm looking for a job that allows me to apply my strong background in English education in a tutoring-based environment. I am looking for an involved parent who is eager to help their child succeed in school and will trust me to guide their child in the right direction. I am looking for consistent, weekly hours to ensure a routine is put in place. I started tutoring during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was a senior in college and began tutoring via Zoom while student teaching. I have continued tutoring ever since then, both virtually and in person. My skills include patience, diligent preparation, and individualized lessons as per a child's needs.
