About Darcey

Hello, I am a rising junior at an University majoring in elementary education with an area of emphasis in math. through my years of working with kids and my methods classes focusing on elementary-aged children I have found my passion for caring and helping children grow in their confidence and skills. I have a very energetic and positive personality. Over the past two summers, I have worked for an academic summer camp taking on a variety of roles. I have independently taken on the role of a long-term substitute for a preschool class of 12. I have independently taught art, a future investors course, and co-taught musical theater (ages 5-12). I greatly enjoy baking and cooking and spending time outside. In middle school and high school, I played soccer, field hockey, softball, and lacrosse. I also have experience playing basketball and swim team! Through my experience, I have found my passion for working with children and creating a safe and uplifting environment.
