About Dara

I have been a clinical registered dietitian working in healthcare for 30 years. I helped take care of my father in his last years and I completed an end of life doula certification in May 2024. I'd describe my personality as friendly, courteous, curious, helpful. I like caring for seniors because I am passionate about helping people navigate their later years of life. I'm looking for a job that provides me with experiences working with seniors and is flexible with my schedule. I started caring for seniors when my dad started needing help in 2021. I started doing some part time work for a caregiving agency as a professional caregiver in Feb 2025. In my spare time, I like to dance, garden, hike, exercise, read, watch movies, meditate, cook, clean and organize my house. One thing you should know about me is I am compassionate and a great listener. My skills include companionship, empathetic listening, caregiving basic skills (bathing, dressing, exercising, grooming, cooking).
