About Daphnie

I was adopted at the age of 6 by a Dominican Family on the East coast, within 4 months I could speak Spanish fluently. When I graduated high school I took a test to have documentation that I can speak, read and write in Spanish as proficiently as I can English. I have always been strongest in my English classes for my strength in attention to detail, understanding and translations. I have 2 years of college experience, I attended with a full scholarship, I got married at 20 years old to a service member, which has brought me to California. I aspire to help children with tutoring, and be available to listen to their questions or concerns they might have dealing with the transitions that school throws their way. We all know how difficult going to a new school can be as well as advancing to the next grade, or even trying to make new friends. I have personal the experience and I know I can be a positive influence on the life of the young boys and girls who may be struggling.
