About Daphne

I've worked with kids for years and genuinely love all ages. I started out working at a daycare, then babysat and nannied throughout college and during the pandemic. After moving to Florida, I became a teacher. I taught 5th grade for one year, 2nd grade for two years, and next year I'll be teaching Kindergarten all in thr district. I am endorsed in reading K-6 and science K-9, along with having my masters degree in elementary education, along with my bachelors in coastal management, biology and environmental studies. I have a clean driving record and a safe, reliable car. Because of my teaching background, I'm also able to create worksheets and activities to help keep kids learning over the summer. I'm good at noticing learning gaps and identifying skills students may need extra help with so they can feel more confident and successful going into the next school year. I'm responsible, patient, energetic, and really enjoy building connections with the families I work with.
