Daphnee was amazing! Flexible, patient, communicative, with me and with my family - we hired her to help us with the kids during a 2.5 week vacation in NYC, and I was a little overstimulated and jetlagged the whole time, so having her calm presence was very helpful. Most importantly, the kids really enjoyed their time with her, and learned a ton from her. She was respectful of our routines, but also gently pushed us and the kids to go out, do more, and learn while they were with her. She brought her own toys, like other reviewers said, which was a godsend because we were traveling and couldn't bring our own, and her son and my son even bonded over the phone when she called home to check in! I hope to work with her again if we come back to New York for another extended stay, and I highly recommend her to any family.
