About Danika

I worked with Danika at a School. She provided intensive, one-on-one help to two young girls who struggled academically and needed help both in and out the classroom. I was always struck by Danika's gentle manner with both students; she always managed to get the best out of these girls and challenge them while still being encouraging and understanding of their needs. She is a true cheerleader for the children that she helps, always going the extra mile to make things fun and stimulating. While both of Danika's students improved greatly academically during their time with her, I was most impressed with their social and emotional growth. Their one-on-one time with Danika gave them a sense of achievement and confidence that they had never before had. It was amazing to see how Danika was able to take two young, insecure girls who had never succeeded academically before, and help them become self-assured students who took more ownership of what they could accomplish. Danika is a teacher who truly cares about her students and will do much more than what is asked of her. I've seen students under her care flourish and become stronger, both academically and emotionally. She would truly be an asset to any school!
