Hi. I'm passionate about working with the elderly. I love being able to just sit and listen as they share their stories and lives. I'm calm, very compassionate and empathetic, and comfortable with things like memory issues. I spent a lot of time with my grandmother who lived with Alzheimer's and I was able to be her companion a lot of the time. I'm good with meal prep, taking folks to appointment and shopping, doing some cleaning, and in general just spending time with a person who needs some company. I spent time as a chaplain for a summer in a hospital, which was a rich and beautiful experience. My main background is ministry, but I would not bring religion into my work, unless it was asked of me. I would love to be a companion to your loved one.
