About Daniel

I first started working with kids when I was 16 years old and fell in love with passing along my tennis and swimming skills. Since then, I have worked as a teacher in rural Maine and a kids cooking instructor and lifeguard at overnight camps in New Hampshire. I have also lived abroad for the past 3 years and had a fantastic time developing interactive curricula for students in the Netherlands and India. I also tutored English and math at the primary and secondary level. I love to travel and can get on board with just about any activity that a kid is into. With that said, my favorite activities include cooking, playing sports, swimming, doing art and helping with homework. I moved to DC at the end of 2022 and am eager to get back into childcare/youth development. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to provide references.
