Hello! My name is DJ, and I have over 20 years of experience working with adults with disabilities, many of whom are seniors. As a certified Direct Support Professional, I am dedicated to providing empathetic and personalized care. I pride myself on being handy around the house and am always willing to pitch in where needed. My self-driven nature and flexibility ensure that I can adapt to various caregiving situations. I believe in listening and supporting individuals in the way they need, making sure they feel valued and heard. One of my greatest joys in caregiving is helping people enjoy community activities and experiences they love but may no longer be able to do independently. With my youngest child having just graduated high school, I am looking to stay busy by continuing to help and support others. I can also help care for pets, I have had multiple dogs myself and have no problem helping with other animals.
