I'd describe my personality as calm, quiet, and easy-going. I like working with kids because they are our future and I believe I am a good influence in encouraging kids to become smart, compassionate, and happy adults. I have not worked with kids previously on a paying level. I have 2 step kids who I have helped raise since they were toddlers. They are now teenagers and don't require my time and I am looking to fill my week up more and earn a bit of money. In my spare time, I like to go for walks, garden, care for my pets, watch movies with my spouse, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am looking for something relatively long-term with a family I can get to know. I don't want to just be a random babysitter, but rather get to know the kid(s) and do fun activities with them. My skills include clear communication, reliability, and calm and gentle sternness. Everyone in my household is neurodivergent and I have a lot of experience with autism and ADHD.
