I recently relocated to Arizona and I am eager to start working with a new family. I have over 20 years experience caring for children from 5 months to 15 years old. I am looking for a long term, full-time 35hrs/wk. position and I am flexible with schedule. I feel that longevity is important in establishing a relationship and trust with the children (and the parents). I believe a child should be encouraged to explore their environment with clear boundaries. I find that consistency, positivity and acknowledgment of good behavior are essential - lots of praise! My goal is to help the children feel confident and secure and to support and backup the parents. Danielle was with us for a short time, about 9 months. She helped us during a period that our daughter was in hybrid learning and we were keeping our son out of daycare due to the pandemic. Her time with us ended because she was moving. She was great with the kids - loving and nurturing. She did age appropriate crafts and activities with them. She made healthy meals and snacks. The kids really loved her.
