About Danielle

I have 6 years of babysitting experience, which I took care of three families consistently. The first family was three girls, all two years apart; the second was two girls and a boy, and the third was one girl. I started watching each family when the oldest was in kindergarten. I was a daycare provider for a YMCA in New Jersey for two summers (summer 2016 and 2017), where I was in charge of a classroom of 18 students, ages 3-4. Two co-teachers guided me with this position. My field of study is in child psychology/child development, so many service learning opportunities and extra-curricular activities have involved childcare. I shadowed at a child development center during the summer of 2015, I was a play therapy facilitator during fall of 2016, and I have worked with children on the autism spectrum through my work with Autism Speaks.
