About Daniella

Hi! I'm Daniella, a rising sophomore majoring in Child Development with a minor in Special Education. As the oldest of five siblings, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. In high school, I dedicated a major part of my time to working with children; I founded Basketball Buddies, an inclusive sports program for children with disabilities, and volunteered at a summer camp for economically disadvantaged children, including creating various clubs to support children in need. After graduation, I took a gap year to participate in a service program where I lived in the same building as orphaned children and was involved in their daily activities, mentorship, and care. These experiences strengthened my passion for working with kids and taught me the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where every child can thrive.
