About Daniella

I am an Elementary Education teacher with Special Education certification. I have tutored since I was in high school for students at the local elementary school. I also tutored while I was in college taking Education courses. I am currently a Third Grade teacher in an inclusive classroom with a focus on Reading and Writing as well as Social Studies. I currently tutor a Kindergarten student who has Down Syndrome. I love creating fun activities for students to do. I also am a certified Kid Yoga instructor so I love incorporating those short yoga dances/positions as breaks during tutoring. I also bring manipulative to work with for Math to my tutoring sessions and other materials (whiteboards, notebooks, pencils/markers) and more! I love tutoring students because it gives me an opportunity moving away from whole group and small group instruction and just work one-on-one with students. Seeing the growth they make is so rewarding and I love sharing ideas with parents as well!
