Hello! My name is Dan. I have been studying saxophone and guitar for 21 years. I have conservatory degrees in Saxophone, Music Ed and Audio Production. I have taught in schools, daycare, and provide music therapy for ASD kids. I have great references. To create an uplifting atmosphere where musicians feel secure expressing & experimenting with music, I maintain a friendly rapport with the student and am generous with encouragement, but also firm about assignments. I have myriad wonderful books, recordings & other materials to use. I teach in a sunny music studio in Northern Liberties. It is bright, clean, and full of beautiful musical instruments from around the world. Lessons are usually held weekly for one hour. My rate for an hour-long lesson is only $40. Moreover the first lesson is free; this gives the student and I a chance to get to know each other and make sure you both feel this is the right fit. I look forward to making music with your student!
