About Daniel

I'm originally from Washington State, I recently moved to Colorado Springs in June 2020 and so far it's been a blast. I'm a dual citizen and also fluent in Spanish. I truly get a reward from service to community. I use antecedent strategies and SEL practices in my interaction with children. Coupled with my very blunt communication style, it presents a very easy to understand, fun, yet firm presence to children. I end up winning over both kids and adults alike in order to build rapport quickly and be able to expand the types of conversations I can have appropriately. Over time, these habits/approaches build trust and eventually, a strong relationship with each child as there is a genuine level of mutual respect and understanding for one another. I'm an extremely effective teacher, tutor, coach, and mentor and I'd love the chance to help other kids develop their growth if given the opportunity..
