About Daniela

My name is Daniela . I am 39 years old, a mom of two teenagers, and I live in Sterling, Virginia. I currently work for Loudoun County Public Schools in a SWAS (School Within A School) classroom, where I support students with behavioral challenges, help students manage their emotions, provide academic support, and build trusting relationships that encourage growth and success. I have also cared for an adult living with ALS, providing personal care, mobility assistance, transfers, meal preparation, companionship, daily living support, and end of life care while always preserving comfort, dignity, and independence. I also worked one on one with a young adult with muscular dystrophy and severe autism, assisting with personal care, mobility, communication, daily routines, and behavioral support. I am certified in MANDT and Ukeru, with training in crisis prevention, de escalation, trauma informed care, and positive behavior support.
