I am CPR & First Aid certified. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I mainly work as a lead teacher in the preschool setting. This is where my experience stems from when it comes to children & parents. I have spent time as a youth behavioral specialist -which has guided me to a more understanding approach to a child's specific needs. I have provided care to great families, whom ive felt like family with. I am creative, reliable, trustworthy, & responsible. I have my own car for transportation. I thrive when it comes to outdoor activities, crafts, & imaginative play. Allowing the children to grow & learn under my care is my favorite thing to witness. I first met Karissa when she wanted to intern with me at the elementary school that I teach at. She was very responsible in her role at school, always coming on time and prepared, and communicating any upcoming events that necessitated a change in her schedule. Responsibilities in class included helping small groups of first graders, assisting with grading, walking around and monitoring students while they worked, as well as many other jobs that would come up to help with instruction. She was always ready and willing to help in any way that was needed. I would definitely recommend Karissa for any position she would be qualified to have!
