Hi! My name is Dana and I am a 26-year-old Fredericksburg native. I have worked as a sitter since I was 16 at varying capacities for multiple families over the years. I have experience sitting/nannying part time, regularly and as needed as well as overnights and traveling/vacation. I attended Hartwood Elementary, Gayle Middle and Colonial Forge High in Stafford county and earned my degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia in 2020. I am also experienced in assisting with virtual education (I served as a nanny for a family throughout the pandemic) and tutoring in multiple subjects. I am proficient in French. I have worked as a ballet instructor for the past six years, teaching ages 5-16. I also run summer dance camps for children ages 3-7. I have plenty of experience working with groups of all types of children. I love to be outside and share my knowledge of the natural world with the younger generation. I am also an artist and love to create with kids.

Dana is a fantastic caretaker. She is attentive and energetic. She leaves our three kiddos happy, healthy, and on their routine. She is great at communicating with us about our expectations and what she is available to do. Our kiddos adore her for her patience, kindness, and fun nature. We adore her for her attention to detail and overall outstanding care for our kiddos. We don’t have to worry when we leave our babies with her. Added perk is she doesn’t mind late nights! We could not say enough about how much we love Dana. 10/10. Would recommend.
