About Dana

My experience with children widely ranges. At 15, I began babysitting other families on a regular basis ranging from the (ages 1-12), and by 18, I was teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade at my local religious school. After 4 years of that experience, From there, I moved on to working in a group home for children with behavioral issues (ages 6-16). Most recently, I ran the toddler class at a local preschool in Denver. I was responsible for 13 toddlers (ages 1. 5-3) with one other co-teacher and I absolutely adored this role! I admire the innocence and wonder in children and I take the fact that children are so impressionable and fragile very seriously. My goal is to always be a role model and always incorporate responsible fun in every child care role I have. I love arts and crafts, playing pretend, reading with kids, playing outside, and after years of writing out lesson plans for children, I am very good at keeping young minds entertained.
