About Dana

Hello! I am a former Montessori guide turned private childcare provider and substitute teacher. I lead a classroom for 8 years and by far, my favorite part of that role was simply spending time with the children - getting to know who they are and where they shine, watching them learn and grow, and laughing and playing with them. Since then, I have worked with children as young as 5 months, and as old as 10 years. Curiosity, openness, and acceptance are at the core of my work with children. My presence is calm, patient, and friendly. I provide the space for children to be themselves and explore their world freely and independently, but always with respect for ourselves, others, and the environment.
