We had Dalia as our nanny for two weeks, and during her time with us, she showed great care and attentiveness to our child. She was punctual, engaging, and clearly had experience working with young children. Our child enjoyed the activities she planned, and we appreciated her ability to keep things organized. However, we were disappointed by the way she chose to leave her position. She quit less than an hour before her scheduled shift without providing any prior notice or explanation. While we understand that life can sometimes lead to unexpected decisions, the lack of communication and abruptness of her departure put us in a very difficult situation, especially given the responsibility of childcare. We would have appreciated more notice or a conversation to discuss her concerns, as we had valued her work up until that point. It’s unfortunate that this ending overshadowed an otherwise positive working relationship.
