About Dakota

I am a 25-year-old childcare professional with 9 years of professional experience with children ages 3 months to 15 years. I love running activities that help encourage kids to develop their critical thinking skills, reading skills, and creativity. I have done mock spelling bees with kids, created scavenger hunts, problem solving and team building games that require kids to think through a problem collaboratively, and helped facilitate countless crafts, skits, and storybuilding games. With younger kids, I plan counting activities, sorting colors/numbers, tracing letters, games to support the development of their fine motor skills, language skills, sensory play, muscle development(supported sitting/standing/tummy time), and reading in order to support educational development. Working in childcare has been the most rewarding and fulfilling experience of my entire life and I would love to continue making an impact in children's lives as a long term career nanny!
