About Daisha

I am a young experienced caregiver with specialized experience with multiple populations. Some of these populations include: - Children with ID/DD, developmental Delays, Medically Complex needs, cerebral palsy, FrágilX, other genetic disabilities, limitations in mobility - Adults with ID/DD as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), geriatric as a HHA and Companion Education: - Bachelor's in Psychology - Master's in Social Work (graduating 12/2025) I have worked as a volunteer in children's hospitals and oncology camps as a teenager. After college I worked as a special needs assistant teacher at an out of district school for over two years! I eventually moved on to the adult DD population part time Working with client who needed in home day supports such as running errands, showering, meal prep, med administration. I then found work as a HHA/ Companion supporting elders over the age of 80. I have experience with dual diagnosis's and children and adults with mental health needs.
